Buddig & Chicago Blackhawks Perform a Classroom Takeover

This March, Buddig and the Chicago Blackhawks took over a classroom at Queen of All Saints, a school in Chicago’s northern suburbs. Students received a free lunch from Buddig and Old Wisconsin, as well as a replica Blackhawks jersey. Their teacher was the lucky recipient of a pair of tickets.

Buddig and the Blackhawks have a long-standing relationship, one echoed by the attending Bob Buddig, CEO of the company, and Jamal Mayers, a former Blackhawks player.

“This is a great day, watching all of these kids eat Buddig sandwiches,” said Bob. “We call ourselves a ‘high-touch’ company, and we try to work with a lot of different charities, right here in Chicago.”

In particular, Buddig’s participation in Blackhawk charities has been a constant for the company, alongside its mission to provide high-quality lunch meats for students of all ages.
